Walnut Live Edge Slab Waterfall Sofa Table

After recovering a salvaged redwood tree, cutting it up and drying it, it's been a lot of fun building furniture mostly out of redwood. But when a customer requests English Walnut, we were excited to change mediums.

This table is over eight feet long and thirty-four inches high. It was made to be just the right height to fit behind a sofa to be used as decoration or as a dining table with stools facing the entertainment center. It's a great way to break up the popular great-rooms in so many houses today.

The table pictured here is sold, but we would be happy to build you one in the wood and proportions of your choice.

Toaster Oven Pan Trivet

Have you ever needed to take your nachos or stuffed mushrooms out of the toaster oven, but don't want to mess them up by dumping them on a plate? Inspired by fajita pan trivets everywhere, Molnar Woodworking is proud to introduce a new innovation in serving finger foods on hot, small pans: The Live Edge Redwood Slab Toaster Oven Pan Trivet.

We carve and sand a live-edge redwood slab to fit an 8"x10" stainless steel pan (included), then we stain the redwood with red wine for additional character and finish it with food grade Odie's oil finish.

The trivet can also be used as a serving tray for charcuterie or small pickles. The inset will prevent small, round foods from rolling away, which is a common problem with inferior, flat serving boards.

Redwood End Table with Welded Steel Trapezoid Legs

Redwood Live-Edge Slab End Table with Custom Welded Steel Trapezoid Legs

This a low, compact end table. It could be used also as a coffee table for a small room.

The table 24″ x 20″ and 17″ high. The live edge slab is 1.75″ thick and two slabs joined in the middle for a unique effect with the grain.

The base has removable, adjustable feet so it will never rock. Felt pads can be added to prevent floor scratches. We also have pin legs available at different heights for no added cost.

Please contact us if you’re outside of the greater Portland area and we can arrange payment and shipping. It comes apart easily and can be shipped freight quite affordably. If you’re anywhere near the Portland area we’ll deliver or meet you halfway.

The finish is a durable oil based finish to let the true look of the wood shine through. It’s waterproof but not as durable as thick polyurethane finishes.
