This table is over eight feet long and thirty-four inches high. It was made to be just the right height to fit behind a sofa to be used as decoration or as a dining table with stools facing the entertainment center. It's a great way to break up the popular great-rooms in so many houses today.

We carve and sand a live-edge redwood slab to fit an 8"x10" stainless steel pan (included), then we stain the redwood with red wine for additional character and finish it with food grade Odie's oil finish.

The trivet can also be used as a serving tray for charcuterie or small pickles. The inset will prevent small, round foods from rolling away, which is a common problem with inferior, flat serving boards.

This unique bench was made to order for use with a weaving loom.

Our customer wanted the live edge to be smoother than normal to support her legs while leaning forward working the pedals of her loom.  The height of the bench was critical to have the bar of the loom at the right ergonomic height and distance away for working the pedals and beater comfortably.   We tapered the legs to get the right distance from the machine, but also be able to straddle the lower beam and not interfere with the pedals if the bench needed to be closer. The tops of the legs are wrapped with twine and laminated to make the transition and strengthen the joint.

The little foot stool is also available. Make us an offer! It's adorable!

This is a unique bench made from one of the outer portions of the log, normally destined for the firewood scrap pile. We flattened it out and drilled 1 1/2" thru holes then used a log furniture mandrel drill to turn down redwood limbs to be legs for the bench.

The result is a totally unique proof of concept bench great for putting shoes on by the front door or out in the garden.
